Douza Sushi

Sushi is one of those meals you are either going to love or you are going to hate. However, one thing that is commonly seen with sushi is the fact it is a meal that will provide you with a filling meal if you get it from the right location. In Boston, the wharf definitely gives you plenty of options for fresh seafood, which is why I wanted to rank the top 7 sushi restaurants in Boston.

Check out more of Boston on our Boston travel page.

  • 7. Umai -

The bar in Umai is a great way to start off the evening while you wait for a seat in the modern styled restaurant. What is even better is the fact this restaurant has some great sushi and has a tendency to follow the Udon style of cooking.

  • 6. Oishii Sushi Bar @ -

The interior of Oishii Sushi Bar is not much to look at as it has a very minimalist approach. However, the crowds will not lie the sushi is out of this world good.

  • 5. Cafe Sushi @cafesushi -

In the very simple room of this location you will find some of the finest sushi around. I personally love the fact they take and have some of the cherry blossoms on the food, which make it stand out from some of the other places.

  • 4. Genki Ya @GenkiYaBoston -

With the organic spring rolls and the normal type of feel of a restaurant you will find Genki Ya. This place does have a lot of the traditional style of sushi, which I have to admit is decent for the price.

  • 3. Uni @UNIBoston -

Uni is a great place that you are going to love for the traditional Asian style street foods that are on the market. However, you will also love the fact the place has more of a traditional feel to it. I really love the sea urchin from here as it is delightful.

  • 2. O Ya @oyaboston -

With a very inventive menu it will be easy to see that O Ya is a great place to go out and eat. However, what is amazing is the fact this place has a wide range of sushi to pick from and enjoy. I really love the foie gras sushi.

  • 1. Douzo Sushi @DouzoModernJapaneseRestaurantAndLounge -

Douzo is a great place that you are going to love for the modern feel of the place, but also the great food as well. What you will really love is the fact this place has some of the best sushi we have ever had anywhere we have eaten at.
