Phoenix is a beautiful city and it is one that a lot of people have a tendency to enjoy. However, when you are in Phoenix you need to realize the place has a thriving community of breweries for you to enjoy. Since this is the case, I decided it was time for me to go out and find what I consider to be the top 7 breweries in Phoenix for you to check out.

Want to learn more about my beautiful desert oasis? If you do then check out the Phoenix travel page.

  • 7. Papago Brewing Company @PapagoBrewingCompany -

When you want to try something that is completely different and unique, then you have to try the Orange Blossom Ale here. This place has that drink and I have to say it is one of those drinks you are going to fall in love with time and time again.

  • 6. Fate Brewing Company @FateBrewingCo -

Fate is a place that you may overlook easily if you are not careful. However, this is a place that you are going to like because it does have all that you want to have in the way of brewing experiences. I personally found the Belgian wilt to be a good drink, but really love the new brews they have on an almost daily basis.

  • 5. SunUp Brewing @SunUpBrewing -

SunUp has all the best beers around and they have the experience to back up the fact they are a great brewery. I personally love the light rail cream ale which has the perfect balance to make you want to drink more.

  • 4. North Mountain Brewing @NMTBrewing -

This is a place that has a lively atmosphere and definitely is an upcoming place as it has a nice atmosphere for you to enjoy. The good news is this is a new place as well so they are still fitting in. The beers have great names and I have to say I love the Soiled Dove Dirty Blonde Ale.

  • 3. Phoenix Ale Brewery @PhoenixAleBrewery -

When you are here you will notice the place does have a sad note, but that is from the death of the founder after a battle with cancer. However, it is a great chance for you to pick yourself up and enjoy the beers. You will really want to try the Fretzy which is named after the founder.

  • 2. Four Peaks Brewing Company @fourpeakstastingroom -

Four Peaks is a great place to go if you want to have an enjoyable drink that will have a full body and have a great burn as it goes down. I have to say when you are at Four Peaks make sure you check out the Pumpkin Porter.

  • 1. San Tan Brewing @SanTanBrewingCo -

This is a great place that has become a staple in Phoenix since it opened in 2007. What is really nice is the place has some great beers that are custom brews and at times seasonal. The one that I love the most is the Mr. Pineapple.
