Eating breakfast is a great way to start your day off and when you are in sunny San Diego it is often one of the best ways for you to keep going all day. The issue is you will find so many different restaurants service breakfast it is difficult to find the best place to eat. That is why I decided it was time to go out and rank the top 7 breakfast restaurants in San Diego.

  • 7. Hash House A Go Go @HashHouseAGoGoSanDiego -

    This is a place that will fill you up and let you go go. The place has amazing atmosphere and almost as equally good food. I have to admit, I personally love the fried chicken Benedict.

  • 6. Farmers Table @FarmTablesandMore -

    This is a place that will cater breakfast to any type of menu you want, well almost. However, my kids have a sweet tooth, what kid doesn't? That is when I know it is time to hit up Farmers Table. They have an amazing Reese's and ice cream pancakes.

  • 5. Kono's Cafe @konoscafepb -

    Kono's is located in Pacific Beach area which is one of those places that people flock to for surfing. However, the other thing they come to is Kono's for the amazing breakfast burritos. 

  • 4. The Mission @The-Mission-Restaurant-Mission-Beach -

    If you want to get some great foods that are somewhat healthy, then you have to check out this place. The food is good, the atmosphere is nice and the way the people treat you is great. I love the houses baked cinnamon bread from here it is amazing.

  • 3. OB Surf Lodge @OBSurfLodge -

    If you want to have some good food in a groovy type of place, then you have to hit up OB Surf Lodge. This place has a lot of options going for it, but I have to admit the omelet is one of the best I have ever had. 

  • 2. Snooze @SnoozeHillcrest -

    Snooze is a place that will make you wish you did not hit the snooze button so many times. The place has some great food and definitely will keep you happy with all that it has on the menu. What I love from here is the rosemary sausage.

  • 1. Fig Tree Cafe @FigTreeCafeSD -

    Fig Tree Cafe is a great place to go if you want to have some amazing food that is going to have some good results for your stomach. The place is also a great one to hit up if you want to be aware of potential health issues like gluten problems or other issues that can come up at times. My husband loves the man candy, here which is a great bacon dish.
